CDL-A Truck Driver - Part-time Job Overview
- Part-time driving, real miles. Run 7 days out / 7 days home or 14 days out / 14 days home, depending on truck availability—giving you long, uninterrupted stretches at home between runs.
- Strong weekly take-home on a part-time schedule. Casual drivers average $1,444 per week while on the road, running steady miles at an average pay rate of 62 CPM.
- Predictable annual earnings for part-time work. Casual drivers average $37,535 per year, making this an ideal supplemental or lifestyle-focused driving option.
- Driver-friendly pairing—not slip seating. You’ll be paired with one other driver, not rotated through slip seats. We make every effort to match drivers by lifestyle preferences—smokers with smokers, pet-friendly drivers together, and similar routines where possible.
- Dry Van freight that keeps it easy. Run standard not-touch, dry van freight with consistent lanes—focused on keeping your weeks smooth and your expectations clear.
- This is a part-time position. Casual drivers do not receive company benefits such as medical insurance, vacation pay, or PTO.
